The Ivor Ride

Early season sportive to get your cycling year underway.

The second Ivor Ride is happening on Sunday 1st March 2020. The event commemorates our great late friend Ivor Reid, prolific track champion, inspirational coach and wonderful person.

If you took part in the first ride in October 2018 the routes will be familiar to you, except that we are using Kirkhill Community Centre as HQ this time. The short route will operate in a clockwise direction, opposite to last time. Distances are 42 kms and 71 kms with highest elevations of 115 and 261 metres, respectively. See routes at links.

Entry will be a nominal £2 but an additional donation for Hivelo, made on the day, will be very much appreciated. You might want to consider a donation of £15, less for juniors and youths. We at Hivelo continue to raise money towards the funding of a multi-sports facility, including an indoor velodrome, serving the Highlands. We value your help. Please give what you can.
