HiVelo and SC North STARS Award
Finn Graham received the STAR award for this quarter. This year the young riders biking has gone from strength to strength, having been picked to train with British Cycling's para-cycling team, he went on to become British Champ on the Road and gained bronze for Time Trial.
The solo Strathpuffer vet has already put the £500 award to good use by getting to and from training and events all over the UK and Europe, which is a huge financial cost. Finn hopes to continue his cycling and is aiming for the 2020 Paralympics in Tokyo.
Finn is a member of Ben Wyvis CC who are looking to increase their youth section and planning to organise a dirt crit event on 25th November and continue their support of CX in the region with another event near Black Isle Showground in the new year.
He was delighted to pick up the award which was presented by Dave Daniel the Scottish Cycling performance coach.
